Evan Longoria:It`s like going to a new school

In spite of the rich experience in MLB, Evan Longoria is feeling tense and worried as he will play for a different team for the first time in his career. This was recognized by the 32-year-old third Bessem who, after 10 seasons in Tampa Bay Race, crossed the San Francisco Cants this winter. `It definitely shook everything, ` Longo admitted, `it will take a while to calm things down, and I will have to deal with many tasks this year, to find my home in a new city, win the fans againon my side, to play in a new environment, it`s all sort of frightening, like going to a new school when you`re a kid. `
Now Evan is in Arizona, where the giants each year have their spring trainingand where he himself has a house. Yesterday, Longoria first visited the Scottsdale training complex and met some of his new teammates.
`That did not really comfort me, ` admitted the three-time star of the Star Game, `I was definitely alien, I had to find a locker, I had to wear different colors, the whole feeling was new. ` Longoria waswho has become Tampa Bay since his debut in 2008, when he was elected `Rookie of the Year`. That season he helped the `rays` to reach the first and only one for the World Series so far and then led the team three more times to the playoffs -;in 2010, 2011 and 2013. He is a club record holder for home runs (261), RBI (892) and points scored (780). `I thought I`d stay in Race for the rest of my career, ` Longo commented, `but I also want to win, and I think Tampa has given a clear signal that it will go in another direction for the moment.
